Directions
The public is welcomed to visit all Elliotsville Plantation sanctuaries for low-impact, non-motorized recreation, including hiking, camping, fishing, canoeing and kayaking, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing. Snowmobiling is permitted on specifically identified trails within some sanctuaries.

East Branch. Over 74,000 acres east of Baxter State Park in northern Maine
Appalachian Trail. A 10,000-acre area that includes a 7-mile stretch of the 100-mile wilderness section of the Appalachian Trail
Big Benson-Sebec. Some 19,000 acres adjacent to the Appalachian Mountain Club preserve
Kineo. Over 70 acres on the Mount Kineo peninsula in Moosehead Lake
Coastal. Eleven properties on Mount Desert Island and the Schoodic peninsula
